Reaper Build Tier List
Class Position
The Reaper is a class with a unique damage model centered on poison, lifesteal, and debuffs. Unlike Ranger or Berserker — who win with raw weapon damage — the Reaper's strength is "sustained pressure" that wears the opponent down through long-duration debuffs. In the late-season 2026 meta, it sits between top-tier and mid-tier consistently, with particular strength against physical-damage classes.
The starter Storage Coffin is a unique inner-space concept not present in other classes, symbolizing the design — winning through debuff stacking rather than raw weapon damage. Death Scythe and Poison Dagger are easier to find for Reaper than for other classes, giving it the highest poison-build ceiling in the game.
Tier Criteria
| Tier | Rating | Characteristics |
|---|---|---|
| S | Top meta | Locked debuff stacking + cleanse prevention |
| A | Consistently strong | Standard lifesteal/debuff win paths |
| B | Situational | Strong in specific matchups; assembly difficulty |
S Tier — Top Meta
Snake Poison Tank Build (Venomancer)
The Venomancer class item Snake instantly grants "+250 max HP and +20 Lucky" with 5 adjacent pets, and 20 Lucky stacks 100% prevent the opponent's debuff cleanses. With Death Scythe spamming poison, you reliably shave down the opponent. Considered the strongest Reaper build, with the community even calling it "guaranteed nerf material".
A Tier — The Stable Core
Vampiress Lifesteal Build (Vampiress)
Combines Nocturnal Rock Lifter's lifesteal application with the Storage Coffin's attack loop. Poison debuffs automatically convert to lifesteal through Vampirism buffs, folding poison and lifesteal builds into one. Often described as the most "satisfyingly greedy" Reaper play.
Hexblade Poison Build (Hexblade)
Cursed Dagger's stamina-free debuff application + adjacent-weapon amplification scales weapons exponentially with debuff density — a technical build with explosive payoff. Requires placement efficiency and execution precision; geared toward intermediate to advanced players.
Double Death Scythe Poison Build (Venomancer)
Heavy-poison build that runs two Death Scythes to push the poison counter to 80-100. Combined with Snake's cleanse prevention, the opponent dies to poison around 20 seconds in — a powerful synergy. Self-damage risk is high, but the healing loop produces a guaranteed win pattern.
B Tier — Niche / Advanced
Witch Demonic Build (Witch)
Combo build using Mr. Struggles' debuff stacking to set up Demonic Flask's "below 50% HP finisher". Reaching the condition takes time, so it struggles against opening-rush archetypes. Satisfying when it lands, but stability is moderate.
Alchemist Potion Build (Alchemist)
Utility build that uses Cauldron to continuously generate upgraded potions. Versatile in effects but for advanced players comfortable with potion management. Stability is moderate, but unique playstyle when it locks in.
Subclass Selection Guide
| Subclass | Class Item | Recommended Build |
|---|---|---|
| Venomancer | Snake | Snake Poison Tank, Double Death Scythe |
| Vampiress | Nocturnal Rock Lifter | Vampiress Lifesteal |
| Hexblade | Cursed Dagger | Hexblade Poison |
| Witch | Mr. Struggles | Witch Demonic |
| Alchemist | Cauldron | Alchemist Potion |
If pets are coming in, Venomancer. If Death Scythe + Cursed Dagger are visible, Hexblade. If Nocturnal Rock Lifter is in shops, Vampiress.
Meta Trends
The Reaper's poison/debuff nature gives "strong sustain, weak burst". In late-season 2026 meta:
- Berserker (Anvil Double Axe) single-hit damage requires opening defense
- Ranger (Mega Clover ignition) is winnable if poison stacks land in time
- Pyromancer (Dark Lantern) revives can be eaten through with continuous poison
Poison is fixed damage, so it pierces high-armor archetypes like Turtle shield-doubling, but reaching 19 stacks takes time — Pestilence Flask count decides the matchup.
Advanced Tips
- Snake's 5-pet adjacency is the optimum; a 6th pet adds nothing — use that slot for an attacking pet
- 20 Lucky stacks = 100% cleanse prevention; below 19 still risks cleanse
- Death Scythe self-damage is offset by Hungry Blade / Bloodthorn lifesteal
- Storage Coffin's space is the hidden cap on attack activation count
