Black Hole is an S-tier guaranteed instant-kill ball with a cost: after killing its target, the ball destroys itself. Unlike Reaper (probabilistic but ball persists) and Tumor (certain but delayed), Black Hole is immediate and certain — but you lose the ball every time it fires.
The target must be the first non-boss enemy the ball contacts. This requires precise targeting — if a weaker enemy intercepts the path to your intended target, the powerful enemy lives. The cooldown further constrains how often you can deploy it.
That said, the guaranteed instant kill against any non-boss target at any HP value is arguably the most reliable single-kill tool in the game. Against elites, mini-bosses, or high-HP priority targets that would otherwise require sustained effort, Black Hole guarantees removal with one shot.

- Encounters with high-priority, high-HP elites that need to be removed immediately
