Flesh Mound
Effect
Emits a fleshy baby ball in a random direction every X seconds.
Usage Tips
- Flesh Mound is a passive damage emitter — it contributes attacks automatically on a timer regardless of what your active balls are doing. This means it adds a persistent, independent damage layer to any build without any player input.
- Because the direction is random, Flesh Mound is most effective in confined arenas where the baby balls have a high probability of hitting enemies regardless of direction. Avoid expecting reliable single-target focus.
- The X-second interval is the key variable. Any effect that reduces cooldowns or increases fire rate for spawned balls will make Flesh Mound output far more baby balls per minute.
Synergies
- Works well with Flesh: sharing the Flesh theme, both balls benefit from the same type of build. Flesh's speed gain makes the main ball faster while Flesh Mound covers the arena with additional projectiles.
- Works well with spawn-amplifier passives: passives that boost the count, damage, or speed of spawned/emitted balls directly multiply Flesh Mound's passive contribution.
- Works well with Brood Mother builds: in a spawner-heavy build where Brood Mother spawns spiders and Spider Queen spawns egg sacs, Flesh Mound adds another passive emitter layer that keeps the pit constantly populated with projectiles.
