Black Mermaid
This creature is constantly finding and paralyzing prey with its venom, but it never feeds. Instead, it lets the victims sink to the bottom of its trench, where their bodies will nourish the next generation of Black Mermaids. And once their progenitor inevitably starves to death, the ephyrae feed on its corpse too, then lay their own eggs and ascend to start the cycle anew.

Tips & Usage
- Black Mermaid shines against high-danger encounters; talent synergy strongly shapes its tier.
- Prioritize raw damage in early acts, swap toward survivability in mid–late game.
- Compare with similar-role creatures (taming difficulty, food preference) before locking it into your deck.
