An odd number of limbs is something I had never seen in the animal kingdom... until now. Its truly baffling, but it seems to suit the Skrimp just fine.

The thousands of waxy hairs on each of its nine digits allow it to stay afloat thanks to surface tension. Hence, it can often be observed skidding across the surface of lakes and ponds, eating tiny fish and algae.
