Rating

A cost-3 nuke that makes every card in hand free for the turn, at the price of no further draws. The rhythm is: stuff the hand first, then detonate. Five to seven free plays in one turn produces absurd action density — in Shiv decks it launches a storm of 0-cost knives. Because draws are locked, pre-activation tools like Storm of Steel, Acrobatics, and Nightmare are essential. Upgraded to cost 2, you keep 1 energy for a support card. Silent's signature kill-turn enabler.

How to Use

  • Before playing Bullet Time, stack the hand with Acrobatics, Escape Plan, or Tools of the Trade.
  • Because no more draws are allowed, line up every piece you need in advance.
  • In Shiv decks, Storm of Steel → Bullet Time turns the discarded hand into a flurry of free Shivs.
  • Nightmare duplicates a card 3–4 times; Bullet Time then plays all copies free — the ultimate spike turn.
  • Upgraded Bullet Time at cost 2 leaves room for a support card (Block, Blade Burst, etc.) on the detonation turn.

Good Synergies

  • Storm of Steel: discard hand, gain Shivs. Before Bullet Time, Storm of Steel converts the hand into Shivs, and Bullet Time throws them all for free.
  • Acrobatics: 0-cost mass draw. Ideal Bullet Time enabler — pack the hand for nothing.
  • Nightmare: duplicates a card 3–4 times in the draw pile (Exhaust). Every copy plays free on the Bullet Time turn — the ultimate finisher.
  • Accuracy: Shivs deal +4 damage. Every Shiv Bullet Time slings deals bonus damage — quantity becomes quality.

Pick Priority

  • Early Act 1: low — cost 3 is heavy and hand-stuffing tools are scarce.
  • Late Act 1: medium — consider once Acrobatics or Tools of the Trade appear.
  • Act 2+: high — if Shiv or Discard shells are online, this is your finisher turn.
  • Boss Reward: high — functions as the defining kill turn in boss fights.
