At the start of each floor, add one Wild Card to your deck.

Jester's Hat continuously injects Wild Cards into your deck as you progress through floors, providing a steadily growing supply of a flexible card type. Wild Cards function as combo connectors by default, but their value multiplies enormously in specific builds.

The strongest pairing is with Wild Buff, which makes Wild Cards benefit from the combo multiplier. Jester's Hat feeds Wild Buff a constant stream of cards to play each turn, and as you clear more floors, you accumulate more Wild Cards to fuel consecutive combos. By the late game, a Jester's Hat + Wild Buff run can have a dozen or more Wild Cards cycling through the deck every few turns, providing reliable combo sustain on top of your main damage cards.

Over the Top also pairs nicely — it creates recurring Wild Cards from Crawler cards, and Jester's Hat supplements the supply further.

Without a build that actively benefits from Wild Cards — such as Wild Buff or a Wild Card-triggered effect — the accumulating Wild Cards can dilute your deck and reduce draw consistency. Before picking this arcana, ask yourself whether you have or can easily obtain a way to exploit Wild Cards. Standalone, Jester's Hat is a mediocre arcana; in the right build, it becomes a reliable engine component.
