Ashbringer Spear Build

Kernmechanik

Use Ashbringer's Dark Lantern, placing weapons on the left and armor on the right to maintain damage after revive. A simpler version without Phoenix — Molten Spear's Heat acceleration further strengthens the post-revive offense.

Leverage Dark Lantern's "50% HP revive + invulnerability" to dump heavy damage during the few seconds after revive — a burst-focused build.

Center Dark Lantern, place a weapon (Molten Spear) on the left and armor (Dark Armor) on the right. Maintain this placement to continue damage after revive.

Build-Reihenfolge

Frühes Spiel (Rounds 1-6)

Prioritize Torch, Healing Herbs, and Spear. Move Wooden Sword → Burning Sword or Spear.

Mittelspiel (Rounds 7-12)

Take Ashbringer at Round 8. Center Dark Lantern and place weapon / armor on left / right. Set up Heat acceleration with Chili Goobert.

Spätes Spiel (Round 13+)

Final form is Molten Spear + Dark Armor. Push burst damage that closes out the opponent's main weapon during the few seconds after revive.

Taktik und Positionierung

This build "starts from the first death". Start at 50% HP, take damage, revive, and dump Molten Spear hits during the invulnerability window. Timing decides the round, so the correct placement is found through trial and error.

Schwierige Matchups und Konter

• Sustain archetypes: being dragged into a long fight is bad. Push through with Molten Spear burst.
• Buff-strip: Dark Lantern is unstrippable, but stripping Molten Spear's Heat buff hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
• High armor: even Molten Spear can struggle to pierce. Mix in a Double Axe.

Variationen

The Dark Lantern + Phoenix "Dark Lantern Phoenix Build" is a strict upgrade. This build serves as an alternative when Phoenix never appears.
