Cupcake Staff Build
Cupcake Staff Build
Core Mechanic
A meta build that summons multiple Owl Familiars via Spirit Caller (Spirit Bell) and stacks Cupcake Staff damage to extremes. Spirit Bell scales the opening defense buff with pet count and re-applies 30% of buffs after 8 seconds.
Wand of Equilibrium and Mana Orbs secure Mana supply, and Sirsand + Shaman passive achieves 55% damage reduction. The end form is top-class on both defense and offense.
Recommended Subclass: Spirit
Spirit is mandatory at Round 8. Spirit Bell is the centerpiece.
Core Items and Placement
| Item | Role |
|---|---|
| Cupcake Staff | Main damage weapon; magic damage on Mana |
| Spirit Bell | Class core; pet summon + defense buff |
| Owl Familiar (multiple) | Adjacent to Spirit Bell for defense + offense |
| Mana Orb / Wand of Equilibrium | Mana supply |
| Sapphire | Boosts Mana generation |
| Armor / Shield | Additional defensive layer |
Center Spirit Bell and place multiple Owl Familiars around it. Cluster Cupcake Staff so it directly receives Mana supply.
Build Order
Early game (Rounds 1-6)
Prioritize Mana Orb and Owl Familiar. Move Wooden Sword → Magic Staff.
Mid game (Rounds 7-12)
Take Spirit at Round 8. Center Spirit Bell and place Owl Familiars around. Slot Cupcake Staff into the bag with top priority when it appears.
Late game (Round 13+)
Complete Mana supply with Wand of Equilibrium and maximize defense with 5-7 Owl Familiars. The complete form overwhelms the opponent on both damage and defense.
Tactics and Positioning
Mana volume is damage. Never let Mana supply lapse — stay aware of how many Wand of Equilibrium and Mana Orbs you have during the round. Spirit Bell's opening defense buff absorbs early damage, and Cupcake Staff explodes in the mid-to-late game.
Difficult Matchups and Counters
- Mana drought: without Mana, Cupcake Staff stops. Consider running 2-3 Mana Orbs.
- Buff-strip: removing Spirit Bell buffs hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
- Opening-rush: Spirit Bell's defense buff helps but has limits. Layer shield + helm early.
Variations
Pairing with Harold (Hateful Hat) is hard for placement. Combining with Shiny (Shiny Mantle) creates an invulnerability + Familiar damage hybrid.
