B Tier gem — turns the card into a Wild. Wild cards bypass the combo staircase cost-ordering rule, allowing them to be played in any position without breaking the combo chain.
Use
Free up combo positioning for finishers or high-cost cards. Attach to a 3–5 cost card so it can be played regardless of surrounding card costs in the sequence.

- Jester's Hat relic: adds Wild cards to the deck — stacks with Wild Cost gem for more wildcards
- Wild Stuff arcana: grants bonus effects to Wild cards — gems that make cards Wild qualify as targets
- Free to Play gem: alternative approach (makes cost 0 rather than Wild) — compare when deciding which gem to use
When to Use
Best when the combo staircase has high-cost cards that are difficult to position. Less necessary when mana management is flexible.
