| Evolution Material | Silver Ring + Gold Ring |

| Pickup Priority | B (utility specialist) |
Effect and Behavior
Fires beams at nearby enemies that freeze them in time on hit. Frozen enemies are immobilized and deal no damage, but they can't move — all other weapons can freely attack them. Clock Lancet deals almost no direct damage; its role is pure crowd-control utility.
Level scaling increases freeze chance, freeze duration, and the number of beams fired simultaneously. At higher levels, multiple enemies can be frozen at once, creating safe zones inside dense enemy waves.
Critically, Clock Lancet can freeze even Red Death and other powerful bosses, making it a key survival tool in the late game.
Evolution Conditions
Max Clock Lancet (Lv 8), carry both Silver Ring and Gold Ring, then open an elite-drop chest after 10:00 to evolve into Infinite Corridor.
Infinite Corridor Effect
After evolution the freeze field expands to near-screen width, freezing enemies at high frequency. Combined with other weapons, this creates a near-invincible state where enemy waves are locked in place and deleted. Excels in the densest late-game stages.
Strengths
- Can freeze Red Death and all other enemies
- Dramatically improves survival without dealing direct damage
- Post-evolution blankets the screen with frequent freezes
- Multiplies the effective DPS of every other weapon in the build
Weaknesses
- Near-zero direct damage — cannot solo-kill enemies
- Evolution requires two passive items (Silver Ring + Gold Ring)
- Frozen enemies take no damage, so a second weapon is always mandatory
- Low-level freeze chance is inconsistent
Recommended Characters
- Gennaro: extra projectile count adds beams
- Imelda: +10% Growth speeds up evolution
- Porta: area bonus improves beam coverage
Recommended Passives
- Silver Ring: mandatory for evolution (pair with Gold Ring)
- Gold Ring: mandatory for evolution (pair with Silver Ring)
- Spinach: boosts damage of the weapons actually killing things
- Duplicator: extra projectile increases beam count
Synergistic Arcanas
- XII Crystal Cries: freeze explosions chain with Clock Lancet stops
- XIV Jail of Crystal: stacks freeze with time-stop for extended lockdown
- VII Seventh Trumpet: high damage multiplier against frozen/stopped targets
Strategy and Tips
- Early (0–10 min): Level Clock Lancet and collect both rings in parallel. Early freeze rate is low, so carry an AoE weapon for damage.
- Mid (10–20 min): Hit Lv MAX + both rings → evolve into Infinite Corridor. Match the freeze window with burst weapons to delete stopped enemies.
- Late (20+ min): Lock Red Death and elite bosses with Infinite Corridor while a dedicated boss weapon does the actual killing.
FAQ
Q: Can Clock Lancet serve as a main damage weapon?
A: Direct damage is essentially zero — always pair it with high-damage weapons.
Q: Do I need both Silver Ring and Gold Ring?
A: Yes. The evolution requires both; neither alone is sufficient.
Q: How long does time-stop last?
A: Depends on level and passives — roughly a few seconds to over ten seconds. Freezing multiple enemies simultaneously expands the safe window significantly.
