Hammer applies Stun on hit, and Dagger has the effect "trigger an additional activation while the enemy is Stunned". Combine the two and you get a recurring combo: Hammer → Stun → Dagger chain activation.
Hammer Dagger, the crafted result, is a strict upgrade that fuses the Hammer effect and the Dagger effect into one weapon. On top of that, adding Piercing Arrow as a melee item significantly raises melee crit rate. As a hit-spam build, it has top-tier consistency.
The Hunter subclass grants Lucky on every weapon activation, so Hammer Dagger and Daggers spamming hits stack Lucky, and the Ranger's Bag's +3% crit per Lucky stack lifts crit further as the round goes on.

Hunter is mandatory at Round 8. The more weapons you spin, the more Lucky you stack, and crit rate ramps automatically — a self-driving build.

Place Piercing Arrow inside the Ranger's Bag so its melee-crit buff lands on bag-resident weapons. Cluster Hammer Dagger and 2-3 extra Daggers in the Ranger's Bag, adjacent to Piercing Arrow.
Stacking three Lucky Piggies pushes Hammer's stun proc rate close to guaranteed. With that, the Dagger chain triggers continuously throughout the round.

Ранняя Игра (Rounds 1-6)
Top priority is to set up 2-3 Lucky Piggies via Piggybank + Lucky Clovers. Plan the path Wooden Sword → Dagger and wait for Hammer to appear. Once Hammer + Dagger are both in hand, craft Hammer Dagger as soon as possible.
Средняя Игра (Rounds 7-12)
Take Hunter at Round 8. Search Piercing Arrow with top priority and slot it into the Ranger's Bag. Place Hammer Dagger in the center of the bag and add 2-3 extra Daggers as additional chain-activation slots. Line up 2-3 Bananas to keep Stamina supply going. Do not skip armor and a shield for defense.
Поздняя Игра (Round 13+)
Push damage further with Heroic Potion, Potion Belt, and similar boosters. With Piercing Arrow's crit boost layered on, Hammer Dagger can shred a single enemy main weapon in 1-2 hits.
Тактика и Позиционирование
Stamina consumption is heavy. Secure at least 3-4 Bananas/Blueberries to avoid running dry. Once Stamina runs out, Hammer Dagger stalls, and the Stun → Dagger chain breaks with it.
Because the entire structure depends on the moment Stun lands, opponents with stun resistance or stun cleanse are tough matchups. On the flip side, against squishy weapon-archetypes, you push the chain repeatedly and win one-sidedly.
Сложные Противостояния и Контры
- Stun-resistant opponents (Pathfinder with high Pestilence applied to you, etc.): the Dagger chain breaks. Push raw Piercing Arrow crit damage instead.
- High armor (Turtle shield-doubling): single Hammer Dagger swings struggle to break through. Keep one raw Hammer slot for armor-piercing duty.
- Fast Mega Clover ignition: you cannot stop their 40-buff payoff, so pressure HP early to bank a damage lead.
Вариации
Replacing Piercing Arrow with Falcon Blade turns the build into a fast-weapon variant that runs alongside Hammer Dagger. Mixing Poison Daggers in place of Daggers shifts toward a Spike + poison hybrid. When 3 Lucky Piggies do not line up, fall back to Flute or Leather Boots to stack Lucky.
