| Chinese Name | 散发枪 |
| Weapon Type | Wide forward spread (movement-direction facing) |
| Evolution Material | Weapon Power-Up |
| Evolves To | Prototype C |
| Pickup Priority | C |
Effect and Behavior
Fires a wide spread of projectiles in the player's movement direction, covering a broad forward arc in a single burst. Individual projectile damage is low, but the simultaneous spread catches every enemy in the forward cone. Level scaling increases projectile count, damage, and spread angle — at high levels the forward arc is wide enough to clear dense waves without precise aiming.
Unlocked by surviving 15 minutes with Ariana (Operation Guns DLC). Ariana gains defense from movement speed, making active movement both a survival tool and a natural way to align the weapon's forward arc toward enemies. Spinach is a priority pick to compensate for the low base damage per shot.
Evolution Conditions
Max Spread Shot (Lv 8), carry Weapon Power-Up (randomly levels an equipped weapon + grants Revival +1), and open an elite-drop chest after 10:00 to evolve into Prototype C.
Prototype C Effect
After evolution two drones are deployed that provide autonomous supporting fire. Drones independently target nearby enemies, supplementing the forward spread with side and rear coverage. The combination of Spread Shot's wide forward arc and two flanking drone guns substantially increases all-direction clearing capability.
Strengths
- Wide forward spread covers a broad cone without targeting precision
- Movement direction alignment naturally guides the arc toward dense enemy clusters
- Weapon Power-Up grants Revival +1, making evolution progress also a survival investment
- Post-evolution two drones extend coverage to sides and rear for near-omnidirectional output
Weaknesses
- Requires the Operation Guns DLC
- Unlocked only by surviving 15 minutes with Ariana
- Low per-shot damage demands Spinach or Might boosts to reach acceptable DPS
- Pre-evolution rear and side enemies are not covered
Recommended Characters
- Ariana: the unlock character — movement-speed defense bonus supports aggressive positioning
- Gennaro: extra projectile count adds more pellets to the spread per volley
- Imelda: +10% Growth speeds evolution
Recommended Passives
- Weapon Power-Up: mandatory for evolution; Revival bonus applies on pickup (top priority)
- Spinach: +10% Might compensates for the low base damage per shot — essential early
- Candelabrador: wider area expands the spread angle, increasing forward cone coverage
- Duplicator: extra projectile count adds more pellets per spread
Synergistic Arcanas
- IX Divine Bloodline: crit compounding with multiple simultaneous pellet hits
- XX Silent Old Sanctuary: projectile +1 and speed bonus increase pellet density per volley
Strategy and Tips
- Early (0–10 min): Level Spread Shot and take Spinach immediately to offset the low per-shot damage. Face dense enemy clusters and move into them to maximize spread coverage.
- Mid (10–20 min): Collect Weapon Power-Up and evolve into Prototype C. The two drones immediately begin handling side and rear threats — the full 360° gap closes at evolution.
- Late (20+ min): Add Candelabrador and Duplicator to push the forward spread wider and denser. Prototype C's drone fire handles what the spread misses, making the combined output functionally omnidirectional.
FAQ
Q: How do I unlock Spread Shot?
A: Survive 15 minutes with Ariana. The Operation Guns DLC is required.
Q: The damage feels weak early — how do I fix it?
A: Spinach is the most important early pickup. Adding Duplicator and Candelabrador after Spinach pushes volume and spread enough that the low base damage becomes less limiting.
Q: Do Prototype C's drones target enemies on their own?
A: Yes — the drones fire autonomously at nearby enemies. Spread Shot handles the forward arc while the drones cover flanks and rear, collectively closing most directional gaps.
