Effect and Behavior

A DLC weapon that fires spinning, arc-trajectory fireballs toward the nearest enemy. Each individual fireball carries its own independent hitbox — multiple fireballs fired in one volley can each hit separate enemies, or stack multiple hits onto a single high-HP target simultaneously.

Unlocked by surviving 15 minutes with Brad Fang (DLC character). Weapon Power-Up as the evolution material grants an additional Revival — a safety net against game-over that pairs well with the DLC-unlock requirement's difficulty level.

Evolution Conditions

Max Firearm (Lv 8), carry Weapon Power-Up, and open an elite-drop chest after 10:00 to evolve. The post-evolution weapon name is currently unconfirmed.

Strengths

  • Each fireball's independent hitbox means Amount increases multiply the total simultaneous damage output — more fireballs = proportionally more hits per volley
  • Auto-targets the nearest enemy — no manual aiming required for consistent damage output
  • Arc-shaped trajectory naturally creates multi-hit opportunities against enemy clusters
  • Weapon Power-Up grants Revival, providing a safety net against game-over while progressing toward evolution

Weaknesses

  • Requires DLC for Brad Fang
  • 15-minute survival with Brad Fang is a heavy unlock requirement
  • Nearest-enemy targeting limits coverage against distant or widely scattered enemies
  • Evolution destination currently unknown

Recommended Characters

  • Brad Fang: the DLC unlock character; other characters can use it effectively after unlocking
  • Characters with Amount bonuses: independent hitboxes per fireball make Amount increases multiplicative in practice
  • High-max-HP tanky characters: extract more value from Weapon Power-Up's Revival as a safety buffer

Recommended Passives

  • Weapon Power-Up: mandatory for evolution; also grants Revival as an anti-game-over safety net (top priority)
  • Duplicator: Amount increase raises the number of simultaneous fireballs fired per volley
  • Spinach: +10% Might raises per-fireball hit damage
  • Hollow Heart: max HP increase complements the safety-net approach built around Weapon Power-Up's Revival

Synergistic Arcanas

  • III Tragic Princess: Amount increase further amplifies simultaneous fireball count and total volley damage
  • IX Divine Bloodline: crit compounding on individual fireball hits raises DPS

Strategy and Tips

  • Early (0–10 min): Level Firearm and secure Weapon Power-Up early — the Revival it grants reduces the penalty of taking hits during the run. Add Duplicator early to start stacking fireball count.
  • Mid (10–20 min): Carry Weapon Power-Up and push to Lv8 for evolution. Raise Amount to maximize fireball count per volley — the independent hitbox mechanic makes each additional fireball directly valuable against clusters.
  • Late (20+ min): Large volleys of independent-hitbox fireballs deliver high total damage per activation cycle against dense enemy groups. Spinach raises per-fireball damage to maximize each hit's contribution.

FAQ

Q: How do I unlock Firearm?
A: Survive 15 minutes with Brad Fang. Owning the required DLC is necessary.

Q: Do all the fireballs target the same enemy?
A: Each fireball has its own independent hitbox and trajectory. Against dense enemy clusters, individual fireballs can each hit different enemies — increasing Amount raises both the hit count and the number of enemies potentially covered per volley.

Q: Does Weapon Power-Up do anything besides enable evolution?
A: Yes — Weapon Power-Up grants Revival +1, giving the player one automatic revive upon death. It functions as both the evolution material and a survival safety net, making it a high-priority pickup even before evolution is the goal.
