Vampire Survivors Freeze-Explosion Build — Pasqualina XII + XIV Strategy

Build Concept

Use XIV Jail of Crystal to add freeze chance to listed weapon projectiles, then trigger explosions on frozen enemies via XII Out of Bounds. Known as "Freeze & Explode" in the community, it's a textbook screen-wipe archetype loved from beginners to veterans.

Recommended Character: Pasqualina Belpaese

Her starting Runetracer (which evolves to NO FUTURE) fires linear projectiles that traverse the whole stage, so XIV freezes spread everywhere. Her +10% Speed / +10% Area passive scales the build perfectly.

XIV must be first — without it, no freezing occurs. XII Out of Bounds is meaningless without freeze, so always after XIV.

Mid (10:00-20:00) — Evolve and Compound

Evolving NO FUTURE explodes its piercing potential
Pick XII Out of Bounds at 11:00 to start explosion chains
Orologion spawn rate spikes, letting you stockpile

Late (20:00-30:00) — Annihilation Phase

Freeze explosions + revive Orologions = effectively invincible
Save Orologions for Red Death; freeze him with stockpile
Skull O'Maniac (+50% Curse) further inflates explosion damage

Warnings

Run 3+ freeze-eligible weapons: a single freeze weapon won't produce explosion chains
Armor passive is mandatory: without it, freeze chance is too low and players "feel like nothing freezes"
Don't spam Orologions: keep at least one for Red Death
