Piggy Bank reigns at the apex of Backpack Battles' economy items — a Neutral accessory with an overwhelmingly favorable long-term return on 3G. Since each shop visit guarantees 1G, three rounds after purchase you've recouped the investment, and from round four onward pure profit accumulates. In a standard 18-round match, buying at round 1 yields roughly +15G net profit — the equivalent of one to two mid-game key items.

Beyond economy, the combat contribution can't be ignored. Many early-shop Commons have battle-start effects (Flame, Healing Herbs, Walrus Tusk, Pocket Sand, Lump-of-Coal craftables), and stacking 5-8 of them auto-grants +10-16 max HP. It meshes especially well with Pyromancer Flame stacks and Adventurer battle-start accessory stacks, delivering economy + durability double value.

The class-wide ripple effect is also remarkable. Reaper's expensive lifesteal items (Blood Amulet, Darkest Lotus), Berserker's Double Axe and Doom Greatsword, Mage's Magic Wand / Puzzlebag of Love / Mana Orb — the 1G-per-round difference drastically changes shop decisions. "Piggy Bank on round 1 = insta-buy" is a universal rule across every class.

Crafting routes are abundant: Lucky Piggy (Piggy Bank + Lucky Clover) for a luck-axis pivot, Piggy of Riches (via Chest of Wealth craft) for further economy scaling. The standard economy template is "Piggy Bank x2-3 → mid-game Piggy of Riches → late-game full invest in combat items."
