Alchemist Potion Build
Alchemist Potion Build
Core Mechanic
The Alchemist class item, Cauldron, continuously generates potions and supplies upgraded potions (Strong Vampiric, Divine, Mana) without crafting materials. Combined with Potion Belt's bag expansion and random buffs, the build delivers varied utility effects.
Stability is moderate, but it's a strong choice for advanced players comfortable with potion management.
Recommended Subclass: Alchemist
Alchemist is mandatory at Round 8. Cauldron is the centerpiece.
Core Items and Placement
| Item | Role |
|---|---|
| Cauldron | Class core; continuous upgraded potion generation |
| Various potions (Vampiric, Mana, Health, etc.) | Main resources |
| Potion Belt | Bag expansion + random potion buffs |
| Mana Orb | Mana supply for potion triggers |
| Hungry Blade or Bloodthorn | Lifesteal weapon (synergizes with Vampiric Potion) |
| Armor / Shield | Defensive layer |
Center Cauldron and place potions around it. Place Potion Belt at the back of the bag to maximize bag expansion.
Build Order
Early game (Rounds 1-6)
Prioritize Health Potion and Mana Potion. Chip with Wooden Sword.
Mid game (Rounds 7-12)
Take Alchemist at Round 8. Center Cauldron and place potions around it. Add Potion Belt when it appears.
Late game (Round 13+)
The end form is a state where upgraded potions are continuously generated. Vary effects to keep the opponent off-balance.
Tactics and Positioning
The build's strength is the variety of potion effects. Vampiric for lifesteal, Mana for Mana supply, Health for healing — switch based on the situation. Stability is moderate, so accept the RNG element.
Difficult Matchups and Counters
- Buff-strip: removing potion buffs hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
- Opening-rush: assembly takes time. Layer shield + helm early.
- High armor: potion damage struggles to pierce. Add a weapon like Hungry Blade alongside.
Variations
Combining with Venomancer (Snake) creates a poison + potion hybrid. Pairing with Vampiress (Nocturnal Rock Lifter) for lifesteal + potion also works.
