Witch Demonic Build
Witch Demonic Build
Core Mechanic
The Witch class item, Mr. Struggles, scatters debuffs while setting up a finisher: when the opponent drops below 50% HP, Demonic Flask delivers explosive damage to close the round.
It is a debuff-stacking build, so use Death Scythe and Poison Dagger to bank poison, then trigger Demonic Flask once the finisher condition is in range. When it lines up it feels great, but the deciding stretch is shaving the opponent down to 50% HP.
Recommended Subclass: Witch
Witch is mandatory at Round 8. Mr. Struggles' special effect is the centerpiece.
Core Items and Placement
| Item | Role |
|---|---|
| Mr. Struggles | Class core; debuff-stacking trigger |
| Demonic Flask | Below-50% HP explosive finisher |
| Death Scythe | Main poison damage source |
| Poison Dagger | Secondary poison source |
| Pestilence Flask | Poison source |
| Healing items | Survivability to ride out the 50% threshold |
Center Mr. Struggles and place Demonic Flask near it to keep the link tight. Two Death Scythes are unnecessary — one plus a Poison Dagger covers poison sources.
Build Order
Early game (Rounds 1-6)
Prioritize Pestilence Flask and Healing Herbs. Move Wooden Sword → Poison Dagger to seed the poison floor.
Mid game (Rounds 7-12)
Take Witch at Round 8. Buy Mr. Struggles and wait for Demonic Flask. When Death Scythe appears, slot it into the Ranger's Bag.
Late game (Round 13+)
Complete the build with Demonic Flask as the explosive finisher. Build an HP bunker that survives until the 50% threshold and then close out with explosive damage.
Tactics and Positioning
The deciding moment is when the opponent crosses below 50% HP. Until then, stack poison steadily, and the moment HP hits 50%, leverage Demonic Flask. Conversely, if the opponent is a fast-finish archetype (Mega Clover ignition), you often get killed before reaching the finisher condition.
Difficult Matchups and Counters
- Opening-rush archetypes: without an HP bunker you die before the finisher. Layer shield + helm.
- High-armor: poison still passes through, but it takes time to reach 50% HP. Bank poison damage with Emerald sockets.
- Buff-strip: stripping Mr. Struggles' buffs hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
Variations
A variant that runs Venomancer (Snake) alongside creates a two-stage plan of cleanse-prevention plus Demonic finisher. Running two Demonic Flasks is possible, but raising debuff density is usually the better return.
