Usage Tips

  • Flesh gets faster every bounce — meaning it accumulates speed throughout a single run through the pit. A ball that starts at moderate speed can reach very high velocity after enough wall and enemy contacts.
  • Higher speed means the ball traverses the arena faster, hitting more enemies per second. This translates directly into higher effective DPS even if the base damage stat stays the same.
  • Flesh pairs particularly well with high-bounce characters and passives: every additional bounce is another speed increment. In a wall-heavy environment the acceleration compounds quickly.

Synergies

  • Works well with the Repentant character: her +5% damage per bounce stacks alongside Flesh's speed gain, so each bounce simultaneously increases speed (more hits) and damage (more damage per hit), compounding each other.
  • Works well with Flesh Mound: Flesh Mound's baby ball emitter shares the Flesh theme; the speed gain from Flesh influences the main ball's traversal, while Flesh Mound passively contributes extra projectiles.
  • Works well with Rubber Headband (bounce-count passive): the more bounces Flesh accumulates speed from, the higher its terminal velocity. Bounce-count passives directly extend the speed ramp.
