Laser (Horizontal) fires a screen-wide horizontal beam every time it lands or bounces. The ball itself deals normal contact damage, but the real power comes from the laser — it damages every enemy at the same height, regardless of how many there are. Against enemies arranged in horizontal rows, this is one of the most efficient damage-per-throw balls in the game.
The evolution path to Laser Cross (Horizontal + Vertical) is the clear end goal: combining both directions creates a cross-shaped beam that covers the entire grid on each impact.
When to Pick
Always pick Laser (Horizontal) when Laser (Vertical) is also in your build or accessible — the Laser Cross evolution is S-tier. Solo, it's A-tier and excellent against any wave with horizontally-aligned enemies.
Lower value in stages with scattered enemy placement where the horizontal beam rarely hits multiple targets.
