  • Effect: Choose: (A) +$2 +1 Buy. (B) The next time you gain a card costing $2+ this turn, gain a different card with the same cost.

Rating

Flexible Empires Treasure. A = Silver + Buy. B = "Free same-cost card on next gain". Situational.

Strength: B doubles deck-build speed for $5 actions. Province + another $8 in one turn possible.

Tier A; supply-dependent. High when $5 has strong actions.

How to Play

Early: $5 buy. Treasure income + flex.

Mid: A for BM-style; B for $5-action stack.

Late: B for Province + another $8.

A/B Choice

A (+$2 +1 Buy):

  1. Need money.
  2. Multi-small-cards.
  3. No B target.

B (same-cost gain):

  1. Stack $5 actions fast.
  2. Province + $8 card.
  3. Accelerate deck building.

Key Combos

Charm + Engineer: Engineer-gain Province → next turn Charm B = +$8.

Charm + Crown/Throne (treasure double): Crown-Charm = 2 plays (B-trigger 1× though).
