Biggest strength: reveal-trigger Coffers. Apprentice / Bishop / Lurker / Lookout / Library effects that reveal Patron all trigger +1 Coffers. Multiple Patrons + reveal effects = explosive token economy.

Normal play is already strong: +1 Villager + +$2 at cost 4 beats Silver and adds Villagers.

Overall A tier. Top-tier cost-4 card; on reveal-effect boards, exceptional.

How to Play

Auto-buy at 4 coins. Above Silver.

Mid: every-turn +$2 + Villager stash.

Late: Villagers fuel terminals, +$2 supports Province buys.

Reaction Triggers

Reveal events:

  • Apprentice / Lurker / Remodel-line: Pre-trash reveal.
  • Lookout / Wishing Well: Top-deck reveal.
  • Council Room: Opponent draw can also reveal.
  • Library: Setting aside drawn Patron.

Multiple Patrons + reveal cards yields 3-4 Coffers per turn.

Key Combos

Patron + Ducat: Stacked Coffers economy.

Patron + Apprentice: Reveal on trash.

Patron + Lookout: Reveal top 3.

Patron + City Gates: +1 hand size.

Patron + Guildhall: Coffers on Treasure gains.

Advanced Tips

Reveal timing: any reveal at any time grants Coffers — including opponent turns when triggered. Council Room reveals during opponent turn fire too.

Multiple copies: 2-3 increase reveal frequency for sustained Coffers gain.

Patron + Apprentice: Apprentice trashes Patron → reveal → Coffers + card draw.

Note: "reveal" ≠ "draw." Drawing into hand normally doesn't trigger.
