Shiny Mantle Gem Build

Mécanique Principale

The Shiny class item, Shiny Mantle, boils unwanted items into gems and grants invulnerability windows every 6 seconds at Mana cost. Window duration is extended by the value of socketed gems, so socketing many expensive gems lifts the duration.

A defense-focused build that combines gem stat buffs and invulnerability windows to deal damage safely. Mana supply is required.

Sous-classe Recommandée: Shiny

Shiny is mandatory at Round 8. Shiny Mantle is the centerpiece.

Objets Clés et Placement

Objet Rôle
Shiny Mantle Classe core; item → gem conversion & invulnerability windows
Expensive gems (Ruby, Topaz, Amethyst, Emerald) Socketed for window duration
Socketed weapons (Hammer, Spear, etc.) Vessels for the gems
Mana Orb / Wand of Equilibrium Mana supply
Armor / Shield Additional defensive layer
Banana Stamina supply

Center Shiny Mantle and place socketed weapons around it. Place Mana Orb near Shiny Mantle to stably supply the invulnerability window's Mana cost.

Ordre de Construction

Début de Partie (Rounds 1-6)

Prioritize gems and socketed weapons. Chip with Wooden Sword while waiting for Shiny Mantle.

Milieu de Partie (Rounds 7-12)

Take Shiny at Round 8. Center Shiny Mantle and boil unwanted items into gems. Set up Mana supply.

Fin de Partie (Round 13+)

Collect expensive gems (Ruby, Topaz, etc.) and socket them into weapons. Extended invulnerability windows let you completely skip the opponent's attack turns.

Tactiques et Positionnement

The core is maximizing invulnerability uptime. Never let Mana lapse and reliably trigger the 6-second window. At the finished form, invulnerability covers more than half the round, one-sidedly nullifying opponent damage.

Confrontations Difficiles et Contre-mesures

  • Mana drought: without Mana, invulnerability stops. Consider running 2-3 Mana Orbs.
  • Buff-strip: Shiny Mantle's effect is unstrippable, but stripping gem buffs hurts.
  • Sustained poison / spike: poison can still hit during invulnerability in some cases — keep a debuff cleanse option.

Variantes

Combining with Spirit (Spirit Bell) for a pet + invulnerability hybrid is theoretically possible. A Rainbow (Rainbow Potion) hybrid with random effects + invulnerability is also interesting.
