Beastmaster Build

Mécanique Principale

The Beastmaster class item, Big Bowl of Treats, gains 2 random buffs every 4 seconds. When it triggers, every Food item on a star slot gets a permanent +5% attack speed buff (stacking up to 20 times for a total of +100%). On top of that, every Pet in your backpack has a 30% chance to fire twice when activated.

In short, you build a three-layer loop — Food → Pet → Weapon — that produces hits without consuming Stamina and overwhelms the opponent's defense. Because Pet attacks cost no Stamina, even fast weapons that normally drain you can fire continuously without running dry, and that is the build's biggest selling point.

Sous-classe Recommandée: Beastmaster

Among Ranger subclasses, this one is essentially locked because its effect double-dips with Pets. Pick Beastmaster at Round 8, and from there onward consciously prioritize Pets, Food, and fast weapons in shops.

Objets Clés et Placement

Objet Rôle
Big Bowl of Treats Buff supplier and Pet double-activation trigger
Falcon Blade Fast weapon that runs alongside the Pet spam
Dark & Light Saber Combined Holy + Dark damage for stable output
Steel Goobert Converts incoming buffs into Stamina/Mana to feed the loop
Lucky Piggy 2 Lucky on round start; also counts as a Pet for triggers
Hedgehog / Rat / Fennec Pets that maximize the value of the Bowl's double-activation

Place Foods (Banana, Blueberries, Carrot, Garlic, etc.) on the star slots around the Bowl. Star slots are the corners of an item, so the cleanest layout is the Bowl in the middle with Food items framing all four sides.

Cluster your Pets in the Ranger's Bag together with the Falcon Blade. That way, weapon swings and double-activated Pet hits land on the same beat, doubling your effective hit rate.

Ordre de Construction

Début de Partie (Rounds 1-6)

Piggybank, Lucky Clover, Wooden Sword → craft Lucky Piggy from the Piggybank. Pick up 1-2 Foods (Banana, Blueberries) to establish the Stamina baseline. Around rounds 3-5, snap up rare Pets like Hedgehog or Rat the moment they appear. Lock in Beastmaster at Round 8.

Milieu de Partie (Rounds 7-12)

Search Big Bowl of Treats with top priority. Build a layout that places 4-5 Foods on its star slots so the +5% stacking ramp is maximized. Falcon Blade is a fast weapon that fits comfortably in the Ranger's Bag. Steel Goobert is the silent MVP of this build: it converts Stamina-type buffs from the Bowl, sustaining your weapon spam.

Fin de Partie (Round 13+)

Once you land Dark & Light Saber, you are at the final form. Push your Pet count to 5-7 so the Bowl's "30% to fire twice" effectively procs every second. A small Lucky stack from Fortuna's Grace or Flute also lifts your weapon crit through the Ranger's Bag's +3% per Lucky bonus.

Tactiques et Positionnement

This build basically never runs out of Stamina or Mana. Defense, however, sits in the middle range, so the key is to outpace the opponent's output during the first 5-10 seconds. The more Pets you have, the faster the opening, so empty slots often go to extra Pets rather than more Food.

The Bowl's "+100% attack speed at 20 stacks" is a mid-to-late goal, so early on you carry the fight with raw Falcon Blade + Pet count. Without the Bowl, the build slowly bleeds out, so make sure you find one before Round 12.

Confrontations Difficiles et Contre-mesures

  • Single-shot powerhouses (Hammer, Death Scythe) opening for a one-shot KO: layer defense with shields and armor up front; consider Turtle's shield-doubling effects.
  • Buff-strip and curse archetypes: removing the Bowl's buff supply stalls you. Amethyst or Pestilence Flask helps slightly, but the matchup is unfavorable.
  • Pet-spam opponents (Pack Leader Berserker): their damage scales with Pet count, so respond with stronger single-hit weapons of your own.

Variantes

Swap Falcon Blade for Bloodthorn to add lifesteal sustain while keeping the Pet spam. Run Bowl + Wolpertinger together to feed two parallel buff loops, which makes you harder to strip. The Big Bowl also functions outside Ranger — Reaper or Adventurer can run a similar pattern when it drops, so understanding the loop is broadly useful.
