Upgraded

  • Effect: This turn, whenever you play an Attack, gain 5 Block.

Rating

A Cost 0 skill that grants 3 Block (5 upgraded) per Attack played that turn. In Attack-heavy decks, it realizes the ideal "attack while defending" motion. Upgraded 5 Block per Attack, with 4-5 Attacks, nets 20-25 Block. Cost 0 means it layers on top of other cards. It also pairs with Juggernaut, creating Block → damage chains. Pick priority is high in Attack-heavy decks.

How to Use

Play it first, then spam Attacks to stack Block while attacking. Combined with Anger (0-cost Attack + copy) or Trample (cost drops by Attack count), Block farming is especially efficient. With Barricade (Block persists), each turn's Rage-Block carries over and keeps stacking. With Juggernaut, Rage's Block gains convert directly to damage — attack-defense hybrid.

Synergies / Deck Types

  • Anger: 0-cost Attack + copy generation. Spamming Anger maximizes Rage's Block output.
  • Juggernaut: Power dealing damage on Block gain. Rage's Block gains become damage too.
  • Barricade: Power preserving Block across turns. Rage-Block carries over to build defense.
  • Trample: AoE with cost-by-Attack-count reduction. Playing many Attacks the same turn reaps both benefits.
  • Grapple: Attack dealing bonus damage on Block gain. Pairs with Rage's Block gains for extra damage.
