Effect

Unlocks a gem-selling counter at the Blacksmith (Workshop). Surplus gems collected during dungeon exploration can now be sold for coins, turning otherwise wasted drops into usable currency. Higher-quality gems typically fetch better prices.

Location

Found in the Tower of Gallo area, a mid-to-late-game region. Requires the Blacksmith to already be unlocked via Stardust Anvil to be fully functional.

Rating: ★★★★☆

An excellent resource-management relic that solves the problem of gem overflow. As your dungeon runs deepen, you'll inevitably accumulate more gems than your deck has card slots to absorb. Rather than discarding them, this relic converts that excess into coin income — a pure gain with no downside.

Strategic Value

  • Once all your cards are fully socketed, sell every surplus gem immediately at the next Workshop visit to maximize coin reserves
  • Use the coin income to purchase specific gem types you need, effectively enabling a gem exchange system
  • Forms the "Workshop trinity" alongside Gem Hammer and Stardust Anvil — all three together give complete Workshop functionality for socketing, upgrading, and gem liquidation
  • Synergizes well with Guiding Light: collecting extra light-source drops and gem pickups becomes even more profitable when surplus gems convert to coins
  • Particularly valuable if your build focuses on one gem type — you can sell all off-type gems and use the coins to buy exactly what you need
  • Even if obtained late, stockpiled gems can be sold in bulk for a significant one-time coin windfall
