Rating
A Skill that grants 30 Block for 0 Energy at the cost of not being able to gain Block for the next 2 turns. 30 Block is enormous, but being defenseless for the following 2 turns is a significant risk. The ideal use is pinpointing it against a single massive enemy attack. Upgraded, it climbs to 40 Block, putting up an even taller wall.
How to Use
- Play it right before a big enemy attack to completely block a huge hit, then focus on offense for the next 2 turns.
- The Block-lockout downside means you should understand the enemy's attack pattern before firing.
- Combining with carryover Block effects lets you soften the lockout turns.
- Upgraded to 40 Block, it can completely block almost any single attack.
Good Synergies
- Prolong-style carryover: Carry Block into the next turn to keep some defense during the lockout turns.
- Barricade: Barricade-style Block retention applies even while Block cannot be gained, covering Panic Button's downside.
- Attack-focused decks: Use the 2 lockout turns as dedicated offense turns, turning the weakness into a plan.
