An Unremovable curse that forces you to play it before any other card while it's in hand. Since it costs 2 energy and you're compelled to play it, the turn you draw it effectively loses 2 energy. With 3 base energy, you're left with 1 to defend and attack on the same turn - a crippling situation. Being Unremovable, deck removal isn't an option either; your only recourse is to thicken the deck to reduce draw frequency. Unlike most curses, it's forced-play rather than unplayable - a rare category shared with Mycelial Corruption, but Enthralled is Unremovable and mandatory, making it much nastier.

Counterplay and Play Pattern
- Unremovable, so deck removal is impossible. Best answer is to not accept it
- Thicken the deck: more cards means rarer Enthralled draws. 30+ cards brings draw frequency low
- Energy relics: with 4+ base energy, the 2-cost loss is easier to absorb
- 0-cost-focused builds: even after losing 2 energy, 0-cost cards keep you moving
- Avoid high-cost-heavy builds: load up on low-cost cards so the remaining energy can still do something after Enthralled
Good Synergies
- Energy relics: raising base energy makes the 2-cost loss proportionally smaller
- Fire Breathing (Ironclad): damage each time Enthralled is drawn
- Du-Vu Doll: +1 Strength per curse in deck. Since it's Unremovable and always present, a reliable Strength buff
- 0-cost cards: keep functioning even after Enthralled drains your energy
