Rating
Danger: D Rank (very mild)
A 1-energy Status that draws a card and Exhausts - easily the mildest Status in the game. It's playable and Exhausts, letting you clear it yourself, and with the attached draw your hand size effectively stays the same. The only downside is the 1 energy spent. Because deck quality is preserved as you purge it, real damage is tiny. Slime-themed enemies can drop a lot at once, but they all vanish as you play them, so a deck returns to normal within a few turns.
Sources and Related Enemies
- Added to your deck by slime-themed monsters. Slimes appear from the early game, making Slimed one of the first Statuses most players encounter
- Large slime bosses can apply many copies at once, briefly straining energy
- Status cards exist only during combat and are removed automatically after combat ends
Counterplay and Play Pattern
- Play to Exhaust: 1 energy for 1 draw + Exhaust. The default is to play it the turn you draw it - hand size doesn't change
- If energy is short, hold for the next turn. Leaving it in hand causes no damage or debuff
- Medical Kit: unneeded because Slimed is already playable
Good Synergies
- Feel No Pain (Ironclad): Block when Slimed Exhausts. Effectively a Block source
- Charon's Ashes (Ironclad): 3 damage to all enemies on card Exhaust. Cleanup becomes damage
- General Exhaust synergies: Slimed feeds your Exhaust count. Clearing lots of Slimed produces strong synergy payoffs
- Fire Breathing (Ironclad): damage on Status draw - turning Slimed's downside into offense
- Evolve (Ironclad): extra draw on Status draw. Since Slimed already draws on its own, hand may overflow
