Disintegration unconditionally deals 6 damage at end of turn, making it one of the nastiest Statuses in the game. Burn and Infection require "if this is in your hand," but Disintegration triggers as long as it exists in your deck. That's the key issue - you take damage even if you haven't drawn it, and you eat 6 damage every turn regardless of deck cycling. Stack two or three copies and you're looking at 12 or 18 damage per turn, making extended fights impossible. Immediate removal with Medical Kit is essentially mandatory.

• Added to your deck by decay- and disintegration-themed enemies, often high-difficulty elites or Act 3 heavyweights
• Disintegration-applying enemies tend to be tough in their own right, stacking damage sources into dangerous overlapping threats
• Status cards exist only during combat and are removed automatically after combat ends

• Medical Kit: play the Status to Exhaust it. The only reliable way to stop Disintegration's unconditional damage. If it lands without a Medical Kit, you need to win the fight quickly
• Quick finish: end the combat before multiple copies land. Prioritize lethal over all else
• Healing: cards or relics that restore HP help you outlast the ticks
• Because the damage fires the moment it's in your deck, draw- or hand-based tricks don't counter it

• Medical Kit: essential. Play Disintegration to Exhaust it and stop the unconditional damage
• Fire Breathing (Ironclad): extra damage when Disintegration is drawn - a small upside
• Evolve (Ironclad): extra draw on Status draw, replacing the lost hand slot
• Feel No Pain (Ironclad): Block when Medical Kit Exhausts Disintegration
