Danger: D Rank (very mild)
A temporary curse that disappears from your deck after 5 combats. With no extra effect, it's a simple hand-clogger. 5 combats pass quickly between trash fights and elites, so real cost is minimal. Spending gold on shop removal is usually wasteful - leaving it alone to auto-expire is often the right call. As a price for card removal at the Wellspring event, Guilty is an extremely light cost and a highly recommended pick.

- Event "Wellspring": "Bathe" lets you remove 1 card from your deck but adds Guilty. Great value for removing an unwanted Strike or Defend - Guilty self-destructs after 5 fights anyway. The alternative provides no reward
- Can appear in random curse pools
Counterplay and Play Pattern
- Leave it alone: auto-removes after 5 fights, no need to spend gold on shop removal
- Shop removal: 75g+. Fine if a shop is near and gold is abundant, but rarely needed
- Blue Candle: play for 1 HP to Exhaust if you want it gone now, but waiting 5 combats works too
- Omamori: save charges for more dangerous curses
Good Synergies
- Darkstone Periapt: +6 Max HP on curse acquisition. Since Guilty auto-removes, the HP gain is pure profit
- Fire Breathing (Ironclad): damage on each Guilty draw - a bonus damage source for the 5 fights it's around
- Blue Candle: can Exhaust for 1 HP immediately, though waiting is usually fine
- Du-Vu Doll: +1 Strength buff for the 5-fight duration
