Protruding Spikes activates thorns that reflect damage to attackers. Spike Burst unleashes stored thorns as an AoE attack.
Strategy
- During thorn phases, limit Attack usage. Each Attack takes reflect damage, so big one-hit swings are more efficient than many small ones.
- Small multi-hit attacks are worst under thorns — each hit eats reflect, inflating your total damage taken.
- Poison and orb damage are not Attacks, so they bypass thorn reflect. Lean on those if available.
- Prepare Block for Spike Burst — AoE hits everyone including your minions.
- 116-119 HP is substantial. Chip steadily while respecting thorns.
- Focus Attacks on Tongue Whip turns, and use thorn turns for Skills or Powers.
