A boss sharing Kaiser Crab's Crab Rage passive. HP is relatively low at 189, but within its 4-turn cycle the charged-up Laser is absolutely deadly. Miss the Charge intent and one hit blows up the whole fight.
Attack Patterns
Rocket runs on a 4-turn cycle.

Turn 1 Aim is 3 damage per hit so it's light, but piles up painfully under Vulnerable. Turn 2 Precision Beam at 18 is standard. The real problem is turns 3-4, where Charge pumps attack up and the Laser becomes potentially lethal.
A Recharge action also layers more buffs, so overall damage inflates as cycles continue.
Strategy
When Charge telegraphs, dump everything into Block the next turn. Laser taken raw after Charge can one-shot you. Completely abandon attacking that turn if you have to — secure the Block.
Because of Crab Rage, minion kill order follows the same logic as Kaiser Crab. Killing the adds powers up Rocket with 6 Strength plus 99 Block, making the Charge-Laser even more lethal. Focus the body first.
With only 189 HP, a high-damage deck can sometimes finish Rocket before the Charge-Laser cycle lands. The first 3 turns are where the fight is won or lost.
Aim's multi-hit arrives on turn 1, so thin opening Block piles up surprisingly. Taking it while Vulnerable is especially rough, so debuff cleanse helps stability.
Character-Specific Counterplay
- Ironclad: With 189 HP, Strength buffs let you rush the kill. Barricade or Entrench secures Block for the Charge turn. Watch for AoE hitting the adds.
- Silent: Focus poison on Rocket's body. You want Vulnerable cleanse so Aim damage doesn't snowball. Laser post-Charge is ideally softened by Leg Sweep's Weak.
- Defect: Frost Orbs are the ideal answer to the charged Laser. Channel and evoke Frost on the Charge turn to wall up. Lightning chips steadily, but watch damage bleeding into the adds.
- Necrobinder: Focus minions on Rocket. Minion attacks auto-fire even on the Charge turn, letting you pour Energy into Block while keeping pressure on.
- Regent: Powers tick Rocket down while you prioritize Block on Charge turns. With Powers already deployed, you can block both Charge and Laser turns without losing offense.
