Recommended Choice
"Push On" for card removal is usually the priority. Removing 1 card for 11 HP is a fair trade. Windows to cut starters like Strike or Defend are limited, so take them when they appear.
"Rest" heals 25 HP but triggers a combat afterward. HP loss in the combat can outweigh the heal, making the net healing effectively smaller. Still, if you win you get card and Gold rewards, so a strong deck that handles fights cleanly gets a big return.
Strategy
- If HP is comfortable (50%+ of max), pick "Push On" without hesitation and use it for compression
- Even with low HP, if healing is available soon (nearby Rest Site, healing potion), "Push On" still works
- The "Rest" 25 HP heal is big, but the combat cuts into it. Weak decks can end up spending more than they gain
- If nothing really needs cutting (deck already compressed), "Rest" gives HP plus combat rewards
