Choices
"Confront with the Truth"
- Add Corruption (Curse) to your deck. Enchant 1 card with Exhaust with Soulpower
"Accept the Forgotten Soul"
- Gain the Forgotten Soul
Recommended Choice
Whether the deck has Exhaust cards decides the split.
"Confront with the Truth" enchants an Exhaust card and is extremely strong in Exhaust-focused decks. But the Curse Corruption joining the deck is a cost. The more impactful the Exhaust target, the better this cost ratio.
"Accept the Forgotten Soul" grants a Relic. Getting a permanent Relic for zero risk makes it the stable pick. If the deck has no Exhaust cards, or the enchantment upside is weak, pick this.
Strategy
- If the deck has multiple Exhaust cards and a standout target, "Confront with the Truth" has high expected value
- The event is in Act 3, so Corruption's remaining combat count is limited. The Curse risk is relatively mild
- Check the Forgotten Soul's Relic effect and evaluate deck synergy. If the effect is strong, the zero-risk pickup is favorable
- If there is only one Exhaust card, the enchantment target is constrained and payoff is smaller. Two or more makes "Confront" better
- With Curse removal tools available, "Confront with the Truth" is strictly better — you can keep the enchant and cut the Curse later
- The enchant target is your choice, so attach it to the most-played Exhaust card
