A unique Cost 1 attack dealing 7 damage plus 2 Strength for that turn only. Note the temporary Strength only buffs subsequent cards, not this one. Upgraded to 9 damage + 3 Strength, it significantly boosts same-turn follow-up attacks. Especially shines in attack-heavy builds — placing it before Whirlwind, Trample, or Conflagrate produces explosive damage. Its value depends heavily on deck type; excellent in attack-heavy configurations.

Always play it at the start of the turn to buff follow-up attacks with Strength. Using it before Whirlwind (X multi-hit) or Trample (AoE) yields massive returns. With permanent Strength buffs (Inflame, Demon Form), the card itself becomes a respectable 7 or 9 damage. Priority drops in attack-light decks. As a Strike-family card, it's also a Hell Raiser trigger.

• Whirlwind: X-hit AoE. Each hit benefits from Setup Strike's Strength, massively boosting damage.
• Trample: AoE that scales with attack count. High efficiency with the Strength buff.
• Conflagrate: AoE with bonus per attacks played. Combines with Strength for high AoE damage.
• Hell Raiser: Power auto-playing Strike-family cards. Setup Strike qualifies.
• Inflame / Demon Form: Permanent Strength. Doubles up with Setup Strike for stacked damage.
