Screaming Flagon is an exceptionally powerful Rare relic that grants 1 Strength every time you play a card. Playing multiple cards per turn snowballs Strength, so later Attacks hit harder than earlier ones. In STS2 it is not unusual to play 4-5+ cards per turn, so Attacks toward the end of a turn carry a large Strength bonus.
