Byrd Swoop is a one-shot 14-damage attack that Exhausts after use. Its value is as a free burst source you gain from hatching Byrdonis Egg. 14 damage at a reasonable cost is good for clearing a troublesome enemy in act 1, but because it Exhausts, scaling builds and deck-cycling builds get less value out of it. Best treated as disposable burst that shines in the fight you save it for.

• Hold for a key target: an elite phase, a multi-hit minion you want to delete, or a spike turn
• Don't treat it as a reliable damage source across the whole run since it only works once
