Canio is a Legendary Joker that converts a niche trigger — destroyed face cards — into permanent x-Mult scaling. At x1 per face destroyed, the growth is huge; reaching x5 to x15 by the late game is common. Because the fuel is "destroyed cards in hand," it shines in Pareidolia-style builds that lean on destructive effects like Glass Cards, The Hanged Man, The Devil, and Hippie.
The growth is unlimited and permanent, so Blueprint / Brainstorm multiplicative copies are extremely strong. You want consumable slots and hand-size vouchers so you can set up destruction triggers at will. The downside is that Canio only comes from The Soul, so acquisition is RNG-dependent — running Ghost Deck, Omen Globe, or Ethereal Tag to boost Spectral access is the practical route.

Tips & Usage
- The instant Canio appears, prioritize the tools to destroy faces: The Hanged Man, The Devil, Hippie, Pareidolia.
- Going Negative frees a Joker slot instantly, making room for support pieces like Blueprint.
- Place Blueprint "to the right of Canio." Left does nothing (use Brainstorm for the leftmost slot).
- Destruction is permanent, so no need to time a "big hit" — passive growth alone scales the run.
- x-Mult applies once per final hand, so Blueprint double-copy effectively yields x(n²)-like scaling.
Caveats
- Canio only drops via The Soul, so you essentially need Ethereal Tag, Omen Globe, or Ghost Deck to draw it reliably.
- The destroy trigger is strictly face cards; Abandoned Deck (no faces) breaks the engine entirely.
- A face card converted into a Stone Card will not trigger Canio on destruction (rank data is lost).
- On Black Stake and above, Eternal may attach — Canio cannot be sold, which can lock a slot.
