Bard Healing Build
Bard Healing Build
Core Mechanic
The Bard class item, Ukulele, advances cooldowns of other items every time a music item near the neck triggers. It also has a buff duplication chance, so duplicating healing buffs creates a resilient fighting style.
Pairs well with lifesteal weapons for sustain — a unique playstyle. Damage is modest, but the build wins long fights.
Recommended Subclass: Bard
Bard is mandatory at Round 8. Ukulele is the centerpiece.
Core Items and Placement
| Item | Role |
|---|---|
| Ukulele | Class core; cooldown advance + buff duplication |
| Music items (multiple) | Trigger near Ukulele |
| Twine | Item connection |
| Healing items (Healing Herbs, Health Potion) | Multiplied via buff duplication |
| Hungry Blade or Bloodthorn | Lifesteal weapon |
| Banana | Stamina supply |
Center Ukulele and place music items near the neck. Place healing items near Ukulele as buff duplication targets.
Build Order
Early game (Rounds 1-6)
Prioritize music items and Healing Herbs. Chip with Wooden Sword.
Mid game (Rounds 7-12)
Take Bard at Round 8. Center Ukulele and place music items near the neck. Place healing items around Ukulele.
Late game (Round 13+)
3-4 music items + lifesteal weapon + healing items is the finished form. Buff duplication multiplies healing, providing resilient long-game performance.
Tactics and Positioning
The build's strength is sustain. Damage is low, so settle into a long-game grind. Ukulele's buff duplication is probabilistic, so RNG plays a role.
Difficult Matchups and Counters
- Opening-rush archetypes: assembly takes time. Layer shield + helm early.
- Buff-strip: removing Ukulele buffs hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
- High armor: low damage struggles, so mix in a Double Axe.
Variations
Combining with Treasure Hunter (Fedora) creates a buff-steal + healing hybrid. Pairing with Shellguard (Turtle) for defense + healing also works.
