Berserker
Brass Knuckles Double Axe Build
Brass Knuckles Double Axe Build
Core Mechanic
A hybrid build that lands the Fighter's Brass Knuckles accuracy + crit buff on Double Axe. The combination of Brass Knuckles' Stamina-free spam and Double Axe's single-hit damage means the build can adapt to whichever weapon comes online — high flexibility is the draw.
You get Fighter's consistency plus Blacksmith-tier damage, but you cannot run both class items (Brass Knuckles / Anvil) at once, so this version locks in Fighter.
Recommended Subclass: Fighter
Fighter is mandatory at Round 8. Also acts as insurance when Anvil simply does not appear.
Core Items and Placement
| Item | Role |
|---|---|
| Brass Knuckles | Class core; accuracy + crit buff supply |
| Double Axe | Main damage weapon |
| Hammer Dagger | Backup stun + Dagger chain |
| Banana / Blueberries | Stamina supply |
| Armor / Shield | Defensive layer |
Center Brass Knuckles and place Double Axe in an adjacent slot. Place Hammer Dagger on a separate lane so it operates the stun chain in parallel.
Build Order
Early game (Rounds 1-6)
Build the basics with Piggybank + Lucky Clover and collect Axes and Hammers from shops. Move Wooden Sword → Axe for the minimum damage source.
Mid game (Rounds 7-12)
Take Fighter at Round 8. Center Brass Knuckles and place Double Axe adjacent. Set up Stamina with Bananas.
Late game (Round 13+)
If Hammer Dagger appears, slot it as an extra damage source. The buffed Double Axe shaves a single opponent main weapon in 1-2 hits.
Tactics and Positioning
The build's strength is flexibility. Lean on whichever of Double Axe or Hammer Dagger you draw first — having both is the strongest case. Stamina drains heavily, so secure 3-4 Bananas/Blueberries.
Difficult Matchups and Counters
- High armor: Double Axe's pierce mitigates this, but Turtle shield-doubling can drag the fight.
- Opening-rush: Brass Knuckles' opening damage helps; layer shield + helm for early defense.
- Buff-strip: removing Brass Knuckles buffs hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
Variations
Pivoting to Blacksmith (Anvil) shifts you into the "Anvil Double Axe Build". When Anvil simply does not show up, the Fighter version is more consistent.
