Core Mechanic
The Pack Leader class item, Wolf Emblem, is a minion build powered by a pack of wolf pets. Crit rate on weapons scales with pet count, which pairs well with Double Axe. The Puppies (Courage, Wisdom, Strength) also provide free attacks, adding hits without spending Stamina.
Collecting and placing pets takes setup time, making this one of the harder Berserker subclasses, but when assembled it becomes a balanced offense / defense build.
Recommended Subclass: Pack Leader
Pack Leader is mandatory at Round 8. Wolf Emblem is the centerpiece.

Center Wolf Emblem and place 5-7 Puppies around it. Place Double Axe near Wolf Emblem so it directly benefits from the crit boost.
Build Order
Early game (Rounds 1-6)
Prioritize Puppies and Lucky Clovers. Move Wooden Sword → Axe for a minimum damage source.
Mid game (Rounds 7-12)
Take Pack Leader at Round 8. Center Wolf Emblem and line up 5-7 Puppies. The moment Double Axe drops, slot it into the adjacent space with top priority.
Late game (Round 13+)
Boost the Puppies with Spiked Collar and maximize the pet-count-scaled crit rate. With 7-8 Pets + Double Axe + Spiked Collar, the build slices through opponent defense instantly.
Tactics and Positioning
This is a "pet-count pressure" build. Filling pet slots takes a lot of bag space, so trim defense to the minimum. The Puppies' free attacks act as a stable damage floor, so 1-2 weapons are enough.
Difficult Matchups and Counters
- Buff-strip: removing Wolf Emblem buffs hurts. Counter with Amethyst.
- AoE damage archetypes: pets get shaved together. Layer shield + helm to lift overall durability.
- Pet-killers (Hammer Dagger chain): the opponent's stun chain catches the pets too. Stack Spiked Collars to deal counter damage.
Variations
Pairing with Blacksmith (Anvil) is hard for placement. Combining with Fighter (Brass Knuckles) lets you push attack-speed buffs onto the pets.
