Rating & Analysis

Acrobat delivers a massive x3 Mult burst on the final hand of every round. x3 is one of the largest single-source xMult bonuses in the game, and Blueprint / Brainstorm copying it pushes the effective Mult to x9 — a devastating Boss Blind closer.

Optimal play is to set up the final hand for a strong poker hand: spend the first 1–3 hands discarding and reshaping, then play a Flush / Four of a Kind / Straight Flush as the final hand for explosive damage. Red Deck (+1 discard) and Merry Andy (+3 discards) provide the discard reserves to make this consistent.

Blue Deck (+1 hand) delays the final hand, giving more setup time. Conversely, Black Deck (-1 hand) brings the final hand forward to Ante 1, letting Acrobat shine immediately. Tier lists rate Acrobat A. The $6 cost is fair; buy on sight.

Recommended Builds

Polychrome Acrobat Polychrome-enhance to ~x4.5 Polychrome-granting Tarots

Tips & Usage

  • Round flow: spend 1–3 hands discarding/reshaping → final hand plays the target → Acrobat fires +x3.
  • Track which hand will be your "final" — standard 4 hands → 4th, Blue Deck → 5th, Black Deck → 3rd.
  • Black Deck shines here — final hand arrives faster, Acrobat triggers earlier.
  • Blueprint to Acrobat's right for x9 effective final-hand Mult.
  • Perkeo's consumable copies indirectly stabilize the build by smoothing setup.

Caveats

  • Triggers only on the final hand — non-final hands score normally.
  • Wasting all hands without proper setup means the final hand is your only setup, no burst payoff.
  • Perishable Acrobat is risky — expiry kills your closer.
  • Blue Deck's +1 hand shifts the trigger window — plan accordingly.
  • Builds that play many hands per round delay the trigger and weaken early-Ante damage.
