Radiation Beam is an A-tier debuff ball similar to X Ray. It fires a beam on every hit that both deals direct damage and applies radiation stacks. Like X Ray, radiation stacks multiply all incoming damage — each stack makes the target take X% more from every source.

The key difference from X Ray: Radiation Beam's stacks have a time limit (X seconds). X Ray's radiation was permanent; Radiation Beam's requires consistent re-application to maintain. With high-frequency hits, the stacks continuously refresh before expiring, functionally becoming permanent.

This dependency on hit frequency makes Radiation Beam a high-reward debuff for builds that maintain rapid fire, but less reliable than X Ray if hit rate is inconsistent.

When to Pick

  • Multi-hit builds that can maintain rapid stack refresh to prevent expiry
  • Multi-DOT builds where radiation multiplies every DOT tick
  • Complement to other radiation sources (X Ray, Nuke) for earlier max-stack application
