While active, add 1 stack of burn to all active enemies per second (max {[max_burn_stacks]} stacks), dealing {[min_burn_damage]}-{[max_burn_damage]} damage per stack per second and make them go berserk, dealing {[min_berserk_damage]}-{[max_berserk_damage]} damage to adjacent enemies every second.

Rating

Satan is the screen-wide burn applier — a unique effect among Ball x Pit's evolutions. It requires a 2-step fusion path so the ramp-up is steep, but the payoff is massive: every enemy on screen takes burn ticks simultaneously. Stack 5 burns in 5 seconds and the entire field is melting.

The "berserk" effect on enemies also creates occasional friendly fire moments where enemies attack each other — Satan effectively turns enemies into your allies.

Evolution Recipe (2-step)

Two Charms required — the rarity-bottleneck. Charm is a base ball but appears inconsistently. Whether you can secure two Charms decides whether Satan is achievable. Vampire and Dark are also needed for the intermediate steps.

Playstyle Tips

  • Plan material acquisition: 2 Charms, 1 Vampire, 1 Dark required. Charm is priority lockdown
  • Late-game specialist: Satan takes time to complete; aim as Pit 20+ endgame
  • Frozen Flame combo is broken: +25% global on burn doubles screen-clear speed

Weaknesses

  • High evolution difficulty: 2× Charm is RNG-dependent
  • Long completion time: long-term planning required
  • Berserk risk: enemies temporarily get stronger before dying

TL;DR

Satan is the screen-dominating endgame ball. Highest evolution complexity but highest annihilation potential. Lock in Satan as goal whenever 2 Charms drop.
