A Shadow Update field-wide control ball. Total enemy stop for a brief window — one of the strongest crowd-control effects available.
Best as an emergency button: deploy on incoming boss megahits, dense-wave openings, or any "I need to reset this" moment. The long cooldown and self-destruct on hit mean you only get a few uses per run, so spend them on peak-impact moments.
Best Pairings
- Any high-burst ball that can capitalize during the freeze
- Sisyphus — 4× AoE during a freeze wipes packs
- Juggler — pinpoint impacts on stationary targets
- Magnet — guarantees follow-up hits during the stop
