Rating
Effectively a Remodel upgrade. Cost 5: pick "trash + cantrip" or "trash + Remodel-equivalent." Maximum flexibility.
Killer feature: cantrip mode keeps deck moving. Remodel halts a turn for trash+gain; Modify can keep tempo with +1 Card / +1 Action.
Remodel mode handles Silver→Gold, Estate→Duchy, Gold→Province in standard ladder.
Overall S-tier. One of Allies' strongest trashers.
How to Play
Mid-game cost-5 buy. 1-2 copies enough.
Early/mid: cantrip-mode trash Coppers/Estates while keeping turn flow.
Mid: Silver→Gold, cost-5 Action→cost-6 Action.
End: Gold→Province, Estate→Duchy.
Key Combos
Modify + Chapel: Chapel bulk-trashes Coppers/Estates, Modify upgrades Silver/Gold.
Modify + Throne Room: TR + Modify = 2 trashes / 2 mode choices.
Modify + Guildmaster: gain triggers Favor.
Modify + gain synergy: Silver→Gold cascades.
Modify + pile-empty strategy: trash while emptying.

- Chapel/Masquerade: two-stage thinning.
- Throne Room: doubled.

Counters & Bad Matchups
- Trash-empty decks: cantrip mode only.
- Fast BM: Modify too late.
- Cost-5+ light supplies: Remodel mode weak.
Advanced Tips
Mode-pick is the core skill:
- Early: cantrip + trash Copper.
- Mid: Remodel-mode upgrade Silver→Gold, 5→7.
- End: Remodel-mode Gold→Province, Estate→Duchy.
2-3 copies plenty. Two Modifies in one turn double the conversion.
Modify "+2 cost" is more flexible than Remodel "same-cost". Province (cost 8) needs only Gold trash.
Modify + Chapel = top-tier Allies combo. Chapel for bulk trash, Modify for upgrades.
