Candle is a 0-cost support card granting +5% attack area. Its key strength: zero mana cost means it adds no load to the mana economy while still contributing a combo count. Also an evolution material component toward Death Spiral via the Axe evolution line.

Stacks with Candella (+10%) and Candelabrador (+15%) for cumulative area gains.

Gemming a 0-cost card has minimal mana impact, but for combo purposes:

1. Wild (stable combo connector)
2. Yin-Yang (0-cost draw trigger)

Arcanas: Make a Scene (area build), Over the Top. Crawlers: Area-focused builds (Lanthanus, Porta). Relics: Area-enhancing relics.

Candle slots into any deck with zero mana burden. The +5% area alone is small, but stacked with Candella and Candelabrador the cumulative bonus meaningfully widens AoE. Pick it up freely whenever it appears — the downside is essentially zero.
