Effect

If you have already played a card of the same type this turn, this card costs 0.

Overview

And Another One removes the cost of any card you play as long as you've already played a card of the same type during the same turn. The key to making this arcana work is stacking multiple copies of the same card type — typically two to four copies — so you reliably trigger the condition every turn.

The best cards to pair with this arcana are high-cost cards like Bone or Mana Tome. By running four copies of Bone, for example, you can chain them in a single turn for free after the first, enabling massive damage bursts or resource floods that would otherwise be impossible.

Singleton-style decks get virtually no value from this arcana since you rarely play the same card type twice in one turn. If you pick And Another One, commit to building around card multiples immediately — it shapes your entire card selection philosophy going forward, so taking it early gives you the clearest direction.

Tips

Remember that the first card of any type still costs its full amount; only subsequent copies in the same turn are discounted. On turns where your duplicates get stuck at the bottom of the deck, you may see no benefit at all. Keep your deck lean to maximize draw consistency and ensure you see your multiples reliably.
