Enables gem socketing on cards. Gems are enhancement materials found or purchased throughout dungeons, and socketing them adds powerful bonuses to cards — increased attack, reduced mana cost, additional draw effects, and more. Without this relic, collected gems cannot be equipped to anything.

Found in the Forest of Frenzy area, a mid-game region. Despite being mid-game, this relic should be treated as a top priority from the moment it's available.

Gem socketing is the primary way to scale card power beyond baseline, and the later you obtain this relic, the fewer runs benefit from socketed cards. Players who secure both Gem Hammer and Stardust Anvil early have a dramatically smoother progression path.
